Case Description :

U.S. for the use of Straightline Corp. v. CNA Surety, 411 F.Supp.2d 584 (W.D.Pa. 2006) held that the only proper venue for a Miller Act suit is the location of the project not, as the claimant argued, the location where the claimant performed a majority of its work.  The project was a federal courthouse in West Virginia, but the claimant fabricated its work in Pennsylvania and only installed it in West Virginia.  The court transferred the case to the federal court in West Virginia.
